Student Handbook
RCDS works with University personnel and students with disabilities to resolve disagreements regarding recommended accommodations. The director of RCDS is responsible for coordinating the University’s efforts to comply with the ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Procedure for Filing a Discrimination Complaint Based on Disability:
If you have concerns or complaints regarding the Ross Center staff or your services,
you should first meet with the director of the Ross Center. To file a complaint
alleging general disability discrimination on campus, you should notify the
ADA Coordinator in person or in writing, and provide the following information:
1. Identification of your disability
2. The issues involved and details of what allegedly occurred
3. The date of the alleged discriminatory act(s)
4. Identification of witnesses who have knowledge of the alleged discrimination.
