Introduction

Welcome to the Lillian Semper Ross Center for Disability Services (RCDS). The staff at RCDS assists in creating an environment for accessible education at the University of Massachusetts Boston. The staff coordinates services and accommodations for students with a variety of documented disabilities. This handbook will assist you in accessing the services that you need. You are encouraged to work with the staff if you have any questions about the information contained in this handbook.

Purpose of this Handbook

You will also read about the services the RCDS offers, and the policies and procedures necessary to receive these services, as well as your rights and responsibilities under the law.
