Mission Statement
UMASS Boston is committed to the goal of providing equal access to itseducation programs, so that its students may achieve their academic potential. The University welcomes applications from qualified students with disabilities and assures them that UMASS will provide access to all programs for which they are qualified.
The Ross Center for Disability Service at UMASS Boston was established in 1971 to coordinate institutional efforts to comply with the broad mandates expressed in Section 504 or the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
